1. How to delete your account

Go to Profile and open the Danger Zone section. Type DELETE in the confirmation input and submit to permanently delete your account.

This confirmation step is intentionally strict and uses a typed confirmation pattern for irreversible actions.

2. What deletion does

Deletion removes your account access and associated profile data from active service use. Because core data models use relational integrity rules, linked records are removed or disassociated according to database constraints.

After deletion completes, sign-in is no longer possible with that account unless a new account is created.

3. Limited retention and legal obligations

Certain minimal records may be retained where required for legal compliance, abuse prevention, security auditing, or dispute resolution, to the extent permitted by law.

Backups and operational logs may persist for a limited period under standard infrastructure retention windows.

4. Optional deletion feedback

Before deletion, users may optionally submit a short reason for leaving. This helps improve product quality and safety controls.

Providing feedback is optional and does not block deletion.
